A Victorian novelty scent bottle modelled as a bird egg, with hallmarked silver lid. Porcelain beige and brown speckled egg shaped bottle stamped with registered number '20772'. With cork lined silver screw top lid and collar, hallmarked for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders and James Francis Hollings Shepherd, Birmingham 1885. Approx. 6.25cm long.
Overall very good condition. No chips, cracks or signs of damage or repair to bottle or lid. Silver collar moves slightly within bottle when twisting the lid. Some slight age related dented to bulbous lid.
